Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

We have experienced crashes in FireFox when accessing iCloud and trying to view ‘Find My iPhone’ this appears to be an issue when running FireFox7 and FireFox8. But ok when using IE or Chrome.

The problem appears to relate to cookies and if you untick ‘Keep me signed in’ this appears to fix the problem!

Monday, April 4th, 2011

There have been reports of users experiencing wireless issues with their newly jailbroken iOS 4.3.1 devices. i0n1c the hacker who found the untethered kernel exploit has said that the issue is not with the jailbreak but rather with the actual 4.3.1 release. This only appears to be affecting certain routers and sometimes rebooting the router can fix this. If you are having any problems please use the comments form below…

GeoHot jailbreaks all iOS devices 4.1 and below with Limera1n

Sunday, October 10th, 2010

He’s back and now with a new Jailbreak exploit called Limera1n.

This works on Iphone 3GS, Ipod Touch 3G, Ipod Touch 4G, Iphone 4, all Ipad and also Apple TV (2G)

Do not use this Jailbreak if you rely on the Ultrasn0w unlock, instead use Tiny Umbrella to safely update to 4.1 whilst preserving your baseband, then jailbreaking useing Limera1n.

Currently Limera1n is only working on Windows, a Mac release should follow shortly.

You can download Limera1n straight from here.

Bluetooth AVRCP For Ipod Touch / Iphone fully supported in iOS4.1 Update

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

Rumor has it that the up coming update iOS4.1 (the one that messes around with the way the mobile reception is displayed) also features full Bluetooth AVRCP support.

This will hopefully mean that when connecting your iPod to a Bluetooth headset you will finally be able to skip between tracks and other minor features.

Previously many users have only beeen able to pause and start playback from their headset.

If this is true this is great news as many were dissapointed it was not included in the initial release of iOS4. It is also great from a safety point of view as driving and attempting to change tracks on the Ipod is not very safe.

I havn’t been able to find much out about this and mainly going by what was posted on wikipedia and a few others site.

Anyone know any more info?
