Bluetooth AVRCP For Ipod Touch / Iphone fully supported in iOS4.1 Update

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

Rumor has it that the up coming update iOS4.1 (the one that messes around with the way the mobile reception is displayed) also features full Bluetooth AVRCP support.

This will hopefully mean that when connecting your iPod to a Bluetooth headset you will finally be able to skip between tracks and other minor features.

Previously many users have only beeen able to pause and start playback from their headset.

If this is true this is great news as many were dissapointed it was not included in the initial release of iOS4. It is also great from a safety point of view as driving and attempting to change tracks on the Ipod is not very safe.

I havn’t been able to find much out about this and mainly going by what was posted on wikipedia and a few others site.

Anyone know any more info?
