Do you want to send free sms / free txt messages? Do you always run out of credit at the time you need to send text messages, well we have found a selection of free txt message websites for you to choose from.
Most of these sites allow you to send free sms messages but some limit you to 5-10 messages a month or put a sending limit on so you can only send a message at hourly intervals. But still free is better than nothing! A simple Google search for free sms can throw up some good results but we haved picked out some the best ones.
CBFSMS - This service is great and usually very reliable. No signup is required and you can send a txt message very quickly. The only limitation is that you have to wait up to 9 minutes at a time to send a message depending on how busy the service is. Also you can only send txt messages to UK mobiles. Still its free!
02 Free SMS - Currently O2 allows you to send 10 free text messages a month. This service is very reliable and allows you to send txt messages quickly. The only limitation is the 10 sms a month limit however if you need a reliable service then this is a great site. Signup is also required although this does not have to take very long. You can send free sms in no time.
Wadja - This is another free sms service that also lets you post messages and meet new friends on their website. It supports a number of countries. Signup is required but then allows you to send sms with no limits (as of July 2009).
TextCosmo - Another site which requires a signup. Here you can send free sms although there is a limit of 10 free sms a week.
FreeSMSFrog - This site does not require a signup to send free text messages although sometimes you have to wait to be able to send one during busy periods.
We will be adding more free sms websites as we find them. The ones listed above are those which we can confirm will definitely send free sms messages.
